Arbutin powder is a sophisticated cosmetic ingredient. It's a glycoside with two primary isomers: alpha arbutin powder (optical rotation +174.0°～+184.0°) and beta arbutin powder (optical rotation -64°～-68°). Both α and β arbutin appear as white powders.
